Ordi request

I'm an existing sky broadband customer and trying to move to a new provider. When trying to setup with the new provider they can't find an active line against my address and suggest raising an ORDI request with my current provider to ensure the correct details are registered in openreach database. I've tried a few times to talk to customer support at SKY, first time they didn't know what a ordi request was and kept insisting my details are correct and the next time they knew what an ordi request was but said it was something the new provider should raise even though they are the ones with the details of the current line. how can i reach someone who can help me?

@AC17 if you are an existing the details of your connection as it must by definition be on the Openreach database. Past experience has shown Sky do not have systems in place to make these requests when customers want to buy a new service from them let alone leave but of course you can ask.

You can search the database yourself here Openreach Checker

Re: Ordi request

the openreach checker only shows what services are available not what services are active. I've seen other people in the forum who have managed to get the request raised but my issue seems to be getting someone who understands the request.
