Orange light on boaster
Hi, I have my main box in the livingroom which is working fine but my box in the room has a constant orange/amber light on, this has been going on for weeks and my laptop keeps dropping from service, I spoke to tech team ran through all the steps which stopped it for about an hour and now it is back and wont stop doing it.
Any help?

Re: Orange light on boaster
@Thomas03 How long have you had the booster and what colour is the router you have? Is it black or white?
If you have found this solution helpful please tick this as the answer.

Sorry by main router is black, which is fairly new, the booster is white and around 2/3 years.

Re: Orange light on boaster
@Thomas03 Link below about connecting your SE210 booster, orange light in the middle is a sign it is too far away from the hub signal. Had mine 6 years still going strong, with only a couple of times had to re-pare it back to the hub!

Re: Orange light on boaster
Thanks for coming back to me, I can't get it any closer its my far away room where my laptop is, the walls are solid so no option to even move it into the hallway, I understand Sky guarantee wifi anywhere in your home? I will check the link but not sure it will work.

Re: Orange light on boaster
@Thomas03 Confused, your old hub and booster paired together, did it have a 3 green lights before and after you repositioned it!
You are using the Sky Broadband hub and also the Sky Broadband booster combination!

Re: Orange light on boaster
Yes it has always worked, now it is mostly solid orange or intermitently orange on the booster, so I am not sure how it can be too far away. Could it be the box needs replace?

Re: Orange light on boaster
@Thomas03 If you take the booster move it closer to the hub does it go back to three green lights! It may do fact that it is connected, even in orange/amber light for the middle connected it is showing you that it's working!
I would factory reset the booster and start from scratch being close to the hub within a few feet, pair it back do wait at least 10 mins after you have the 3 solid green lights on the booster before you move it back to position!
