Openreach/Sky

I am due to have my line upgraded to full fibre gigafast on Monday, openreach engineer came yesterday and have said there is a blockage in the duct sprayed the slabs by my front door and said will be in touch??

Anyone know what happens next? How long does this normally take? Do I need to tell Sky or is this something openreach normally communicate back.

Thank You

@Nickie13 Openreach will tell Sky but as yet nobody can give you a date for your new connection to be connected. Openreach will need to book one of their teams to do the digging to clear the duct, then the fibre engineers need to come back run the fibre to your property and lastly someone needs to do the install inside. Typically this takes a few weeks.
