Hi all, I've got an amber light (voice)  on my broadband box, sky have arranged for Openreach to come and hopefully repair it, I forgot to ask if they will charge me for this? Does anyone know?

@Tara61

If Openreach has been arranged then they will go to the location of the fault which as it is most likely to be outside of your property then there is no fee to pay. Should Sky have believed the fault to be inside of your home then it would have been for you to fix.

Re: Openreach Fee

What if there is damage inside? I don't think there is but I'm just worried they will charge me for something and I just can't afford it. I'm a bit of a worrier!

@Tara61 If you have not done anything to cause damage then you have no worries, at worst case it could be a bad hub and that is not going to be your fault it's just a what is case, the Engineer will advise, you may just get the text we've fixed your fault and you should be working again it was outside no worries!

Re: Openreach Fee

Thanks for the reply, we've not done anything that I'm aware of. They are due tomorrow afternoon so fingers crossed for a quick and easy fix.
