What a joke this house move has been. No one from open reach turns up to install broadband. We rang sky they said they can't do anything about it. We've taken the day off work. Sky don't have contact details for open reach ? Why not your the ones who booked the appointments.

Find out more@Burtynick Sky cannot pick up the phone and contact the engineer assigned to your job they have to wait for the report to come through which typically is overnight. Ofcom have set the system up so that a BT group company like Plusnet have no advantage in contacting Openreach who are part of the same group over ISPs like Sky who are not owned by BT.
There are any number of reasons for a missed appointment from the engineer simply running out of time, through minor technical hitches all the way to your new service needing major work which may take months. You need to talk to Sky to see what they have been told. In particular running a new full fibre line can be very complicated and delays can be considerable depending on what is involved..
The only consolation is you should be compensated at a fixed rate for missed appointments and delays see Customer Auto-Compensation | Sky Help | Sky.com
