Only 1 bar on wifi

I only have 1 bar on my wifi.... when i check wifi and broardband it show a problem but when i test it .. it says its ok? Never get more than 1 bar...i seem to using up a lot if data on my network... but not sure why as i use the wifi

How far away from the router are you? Of course you can only expect 1 bar if you are a good distance away
