Online protection

With sky broadband do we have any protection against online hackers? As I've noticed just recently that someone keeps trying to hack my iPhone through my WiFi?

Sky Broadband has a typical firewall: WiFi Max subscribers supposedly get something extra.

Thats extremely unlikely unless you've annoyed a state security agency (and Apple will be very upset)  Most such warnings are generated by malicious pop-ups or unscrupulous 'protection' products.

"Stay protected online with maximum security

WiFi Max offers advanced security, protecting every device connected to the network. From smart doorbells and cameras to your personal laptops and mobiles, everything is protected by the latest in artificial intelligence to detect and block threats. All connected devices are monitored in real time to alert customers to security threats as they happen via the MySky App. This is the UK’s most advanced network security from a major broadband provider. "

Re: Online protection

I had a pop up on my bottom right screen when I was online and had to press x to get it off then all of a sudden something came up on my screen saying fb was trying access my photos and I wasn't on fb?  Then today I've had someone on WhatsApp from a +48 number trying to video call me? I've never had stuff like this happen before?

Almost certainly malicious pop-ups from an app you've installed or arriving into a web browser.  If iPhones are 'hackable' then that knowledge would be sold to extremely high bidders for very targeted use (so unless you're Jeff Bezos or the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia it basically doesn't happen)

The exception is where someone with ill-will towards the user has physical access to the phone itself to install malicious software: that's most often a partner or ex.  Unfortunately in such a case all 'protection' from an ISP is entirely nullified.
