ONT connection required
I'm in a new-build and it seems to taking ages to get BT out to deal with the ONT connection inside the property. Is this something a Sky engineer could do? If so how would I go about arranging it? Any suggestions gratefully received. Thanks for reading.

Re: ONT connection required
Sky should arrange it when you place an order with them.
Sky favour CityFibre a lot of the time today, so it may be them that do the install. They are a completely separate network to the one you refer to as "BT" but Sky use both, depending on what is cheaper for them.
And just for the record, it has nothing to do with BT. Openreach are responsible for the infrastructure and, while both part of "BT Group", they are a separate company to BT.

If @Ste1232 is in a Cityfibre area then it will be them otherwise it is Openreach so who is the cheaper plays no part in this.

Re: ONT connection required
@caesarome Then I stand corrected.
Interesting point though. If there is no cost advantage then why are Sky using CityFibre?

I'd think it's the commercial deal Sky has done with CityFibre to get potential access to the customers who are currently within reach of that network but not Openreach.
