ONT Location - Where Will They Run The Cable To?

Interested in having FTTP installed but the question i have is will the engineer run the cable to where i would like the ONT box located.

My current router is located in a backroom in the middle of the property and that's where i would like the ONT installed. However this would mean that the cable from the outside box coming in through the wall to one room and then around the walls. It would then need to go through (Drill a hole) an internal wall to get to the room i would like it.

Does anyone have a similar experience of this, and have had it done.

Cheers

Typically an installer won't take the optical pigtail that far into a property and/or through an internal wall or round a door frame.

Note that because the link between ONT and router is ethernet cable, the ONT can be on an external wall with your own ethernet run to where you want the router to be.

You'd need to organise this yourself though.
