Not downloading

My sky box isn't downloading anything and when it does it takes hours of not days of not at all. 
my who band service is good and it's all connected to sky and my sky service is also showing good I have up-to-date downloads. Also done a full hard drive shut down and still not working. Always been good but since December it's playing up

@Stacy221 is your Sky box connected to the internet over wifi? From the details you've posted, it sounds very much as though your Sky box isn't receiving a good wifi signal.

 

You could, as a first step, restart both your Sky box and your broadband router by turning them off at the plug. Wait for 30 seconds before turning your router back on, and another 4 minutes before starting your Sky box.

Thank you I've done all of the above and it's still the same. It is connected by WiFi but says it's got good connection. This has only started since December and my internet has always been the same for the past 12 years with sky box.
