@DudleyD Is the downstairs all working fine, plus any other device when you try upstairs do they connect fine?

Re: No upstairs connection
Downstairs is working fine and upstairs the sky TV, and two laptops connecting without any problems. Mobiles working throughout the house.

Re: No upstairs connection
@DudleyD Then it is looking like the wireless wifi connection on the PC is not connecting especially if you get a mobile signal or your laptop in the room were the pc is!

Re: No upstairs connection
Yes, I agree. Strange though how the computer can pick up neighbours wfi signal.
The Sky help desk tried getting me to change the security setting, made no difference.
They are going to send out a wfi booster.

Re: No upstairs connection
Using a booster, it used to connect to a BT hub.
It did momentarily connect to this Sky hub but lost this connection which couldn't then be reconnected

Re: No upstairs connection
@DudleyD Then you need to go into the wireless wifi properties, see all the connections and tell the PC to forget them one by one....
The links above on post 6 say which sky hub you are using or just say White sky Max or Black sky Broadband Hub!
Take it this is all new and you moved from BT to sky, if you have not done so yet, also have a look at the Broadband Shield settings, those will not effect getting connected though!
