No terrestrial channels

Set up new broadband with sky and my tv now will not find terrestrial channels help !!!!

That's not going to be a broadband issue.

 

How do such channels usually arrive on the television set?

Are you referring to Freeview channels to your TV through an aerial? The only way broadband installation would affect that was if they accidentally damaged the TV aerial cable or knocked the aerial out of alignment. It is very rare that Sky put a dish that high nowadays.
