My broadband could not be switched on 14th September due to my property not being connected to the junction box, 4 weeks later after waiting for them to sort this and a week later for my new connection date today for a 8am- 1pm time nobody showed up. That's 2 days off work waiting for them and they won't get a third chance. Canceling tomorrow morning and calling virgin media. Better communication between sky and open reach wouldn't go a miss

Absolutely, but unfortunately such communication is restricted to particular channels specifically to prevent BT as an ISP leveraging an advantage from Openreach continuing to be a division of BT Group.
