My internet went down today and musky app told me to book and engineer out ... within 5 minutes of that my internet started working again and I've been trying to cancel the engineer which is booked for tomorrow ... I don't need them now. I shouldn't have to pay a cancellation fee as there was not on my end as within 5 minutes of booking the engineer the internet was back up and running last time that happened the engineer got cancelled on your end. Will the same thing happen again ?

To explain why you're cancelling it might be better to call Sky. If you already have a Sky Mobile or a Sky Talk landline call free by just dialling 150, otherwise you can use:
https://www.sky.com/help/home
UK: Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides an 0333 number.
ROI: change the flag in the very bottom right corner of the link to the ROI flag then scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides an 0818 number.
(The forum filters don’t allow us to type the digits in full).
As with most large companies the start will be automated but stay on the line and don’t hang up if you’re prompted to. Depending on your particular issue the operating times of the various departments may differ.

@AreSea94 Give Sky a call, dial 150 from your landline or Sky Mobile, its free.
If you dont have a handset connected or Sky Mobile, call 0333-759-1583 from any other phone, if you're in ROI, the number is 08-18-50-019-2.
When calling, ignore the message at the beginning and stay on the phone as long as you can. If the system sends a text message and asks you to hang up, don't.
If asked for the reason of the call, just say speak to advisor or cancel, nothing else. Finally you should be put in the queue for an advisor.
