No internet

No internet for 4 days

When I use the service checker it tells me it will be fixed in 2 days

Tells me there is an outage in my area but asking around I appear to be the only one effected.

You might want to read that again: the boilerplate message includes the word 'usually'.

It's a generic reference to the Openreach two day target for domestic fault resolution (which unfortunately doesn't include weekends or Bank Holidays) and isn't specific to your particular circumstances at all.

Openreach reports to Ofcom that they meet this target for around 85% of faults, so the wording is both mathematically correct and potentially very misleading.

@TL16  The fault is outside of Skys control the network provider are the ones who fix the fault, and depending on where the fault is may take longer than usual, Sky can't only update you when they get one.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
