Hello
I have a new sky hub.
All my devices connect easily - including 3 iPhones, 1 Android, 2 Apple watches, 2 Chromebooks, 2 iPads, 3 Alexa's etc no issues.
i picked up my new work laptop on Tuesday and it connects to the wifi, but has no internet.
I escalated it at work and they have chexked everything their end. And suggested I try internet elsewhere, as it auto connexted to the corporate wifi.
This morning I checked at a friends house and it connexted straught away.
I have then checked and can connect to my mobile hotspot.
I came home and turned off my broadband shield, reset the router and forgot the network and then reconnected. None of these have worked.
so now I am at a loss....
As my work laptop is a corporate one I do not have admin access to change settings, so I need to digure something out ASAP. Can anyone help???

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Sarahgigi ask your corporate IT what IP address range for their network. If they use the same range as Sky uses which is 192.168.0.1 to 198.168.0.254 - which strictly technically they shouldn't but some companies do - that would explain the issue.
If that applies you will need to change the internal IP address range you hub uses by logging into the hub going to LAN IP setup in the Advanced area and edit all of the entries there change to 192.168.1.1 rather 192.168.0.1 etc

unless I am being silly (very likely) I can't see how to do this within the Sky Hub App.
only option is to enable DMZ which only allows me to change the last number the 192.168.0 is preset, so can only change the last digit/s

I've been onto sky
they don't know how to help
so now I'm stuck with a laptop which won't work 😞
and they won't give me a different box

Can anyone else help?
So far i have tried....
1. switching my work laptop to a new one - won't work
2. trying my work laptop on other broadband - virgin, sky but the old black box, btinterbet (works on all)
3. Hot spot for my laptop - works
4. sky changed my IP address for my white hub - this has not worked
5. work have added a VPN - not worked
6. turned off all my sky shield settings - this has not worked
i am stuck, work will only issue me with a windows 10 laptop, sky will not replace my router as it works with all my other devices.
please help me 😞
