@SHG1 If you are still down, the service checker may have some idea by now, worth a look see!

Our internet came back on 4.5 hours later, but I've got an Openreach engineer coming this afternoon to check everything out. Good thing we do as they've changed our number to something completely different. Considering I'm looking after my ill father and he's getting multiple Dr calls at the moment this is quite unhelpful. Hopefully the engineer can resolve this later on, bit clearly something has been changed.

Ours came back on just before lunch. Hopefully it stays stable as we had no issues before we switched to fibre.

Really great service here. Not only has the engineer not bothered to turn up, we've had zero notification to say they won't be here. We still have a random phone number with our area code despite our old number of 30-40 years having been transferred and working since we switched in August. We have missed vital phone calls from the doctor today due to this ck up.
