I have 2 green lights on the modem but the middle light is not even orange, just off, hence no Internet connection. I turned it off and on again several times but, it's made difference.

If it finds an external fault it should enable you to book an engineer.
After the service checker completes and if it comes back green all good can you click on broadband to run an updated test please. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

I run the service checker and broadband checker, they both say my service is fine but still no green Internet light.

It's was operating intermittently until about an hour ago when it stopped working at all.

I did run broadband checker, it still said my service was fine. Thankfully my Internet connection is now working, it returned about 15 minutes ago. Thank you for you're time trying to help me.
