The internet is not working. Been 2 weeks since we joined and the speed has not once reached the minimum guarantee... had an engineer round today who said that it's around 13-26 download speed. Open reach should've reported the problem on installation but clearly haven't. They are now coming on Thursday apparently. The main issue is that the sky stream doesn't ever work (or Netflix) because of the terrible internet. Sales of goods act 1979 says an good or service should be as described and fit for purpose. Apparently we should be getting a refund for every days internet that doesnt meet the min guarantee. This should also be the case for the sky/Netflix charges (total charges). We are currently watching a blank screen instead of the Southampton game (we are fans). Please help!

Subscription television is not covered by the Ofcom compensation scheme, largely because it's regulated entirely differently to broadband & telecoms. Once service is restored you can request a goodwill gesture from Sky, but they have no obligation in that respect.

That's what the engineer kindly shared too... will push for compensation as can't watch a whole game of football without it dropping out... cheers for your reply
