Posted by a Sky employeeHi there,
Thanks for posting on Sky Community 🙂
We are aware of an outage currently affecting North Scotland. If you are in or around that area you may find you are having issues just now.
Teams are working to resolve this as soon as possible.
Once we have more details on the issue we will update the thread 🙂
You can also check for updates on this via our service status page here: https://www.sky.com/help/servicestatus
I am going to mark this post as the answer just to push it to the top of the thread to save people searching for it.
Thanks,

Internet service has been down for a while now. Not able to connect to Internet or make/receive calls. Is there any sign of this service being reinstated?

As you won't know how long it'll be down for see the below link which explains the Ofcom agreed auto compensation scheme which Sky operates for when there is a TOTAL loss of Sky Broadband or Sky Talk.
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/auto-compensation
If you have a total loss of service and it isn’t fixed after two full WORKING days from when you first report the fault to Sky, you will become eligible for it. It’s applied 30 days after the fault has been repaired and will come in the form of a credit appearing on your Sky account.

No broadband or landlineline since lunchtime. I know it's been worked on but is there any idea on connection time?

North east england and I am not getting connection either

So you stated that the compensation if from when we report it, with this issue I cant actually get through to speak to someone as it cuts me off for being known, I presume that I dont have to report it as its know by Sky?
Also what happens with my Stream subscription given I cant use that either now.
