No fttc to fibre landline number.

I have Now Broadband fttc contract ends on the 19th, contacted Now was told i can only have full fibre as the old system is being phased out. I have a ex directory phone line i have had it a long time for my contacts etc, i was told i cannot keep this number and will be issued  a new number i wasnt happy with this i took the fibre contract, yesterday i rang Now Broadband re lost landline number after agent spoke to her supervisor twice she said i can keep my number i wanted confirmation of this and they cannot provide it. Rang back this morning spoke to another agent he said you will be given a new number. Other providers let you keep your existing number. I can't see why i cannot keep my number the only change is going from fttc to full fibre, has anyone had the same issue.

@robsie Is this still a Now issue or a Sky issue with the FF connection that is being done?

Hi JiM1

It's Now Broadband powered by Sky.

@robsie Even though the system is powered by sky, it is still Now system and billing in control, you may just have to fight the corner with regards to keeping the actual landline number you have! 30 day's is the time before the number get's re-pooled and lost forever to you so do keep that in mind!
