Has anyone had this problem Fibre optics was laid in my street many years ago but still not fitted into the common close (teniment)

The UK national rollout is intended to provision something like 80% of domestic addresses by the end of 2026

The remaining 20% are outside this scope because installation cost exceeds future revenue, and so require a different solution or funding model.

At any individual location there may also be specific issues with gaining consent from the building owner or wayleave for cable access.

The thing is I can't even take sky glass as my Internet speeds are insufficient and this was a sky worker that told me this. In this day of age you would think there was a round about this problem is I own my property but the other 7 houses are owned by the GHA so it's possible there causing the hold up.
