No connection

our connection goes off every day!Sometimes several times a day from a few minutes to hours at a time. It doesn't matter whether we are using it or not. I have tried your connection checker but it shows no problems but still it goes off? What is going on?

We are customers of Sky here so you are not talking to Sky support.

 

The first thing to check is this link to see if there are any outages in your area:
https://www.sky.com/servicechecker


If there isn't try running the line test here:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start


You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.


After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.


If this is if no help give Sky a call to report it to them.

I contacted Sky but they were useless! I answered their security questions but then they wanted details of my bank account which I am not prepared to give so I still have this problem. Today my connection has gone off numerous times so I am not getting any service that I am paying for, I think it is time to go elsewhere.

Was that the bot asking you for these details, if so try saying nothing when asked any questions by it.
