Hi! I got home last night at 5pm to no broadband - so no phone line, TV and I can't work.... I've checked via my account and it says there is an outage in my area, but no information at all about a schedule for fixing it or even notifying me about the outage in the first place! Please can someone tell me what is happening?

Area outages have priority, but time to fix depends on the nature of the problem: replacing a box at the exchange is rather faster than when a roadside cabinet gets hit by a vehicle, for example. Domestic broadband subcription rates don't cover proactive notification of outages.
