I've had no broadband since Friday. Sky have given me false hope by providing dates when it will be back operational with no guarantee of compensation. Really poor service.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt's very difficult for companies to give estimates on repair timeframes. It will depend what the fault is, where the fault is and whether to carry out a repair the road or pavement has to be dug up. That will involve seeking permission from the council and organising a crew to do it. Openreach don't work on domestic repairs on weekends or bank holidays so today (Thursday) is day 3.

See this link re auto compensation for when there is a total loss of Sky Broadband or Sky Talk. https://www.sky.com/help/articles/auto-compensation
If you have a total loss of service and it isn’t fixed after two full working days from when you first report the fault to Sky, you will become eligible for it once it’s fixed. It will come in the form of a credit appearing on your account.
