Discussion topic: No broadband...outage for 5 days?

No broadband...outage for 5 days?
Ive been told by sky app and calling EVERYDAY that openreach have an outage and will be fixed in 2 days or sooner. Its now 5 days and still no resolution! Why cant SKY contact openreach to find any updates as this is rediculous!

Unfortunately that's a reference to the Openreach target for domestic broadband fault resolution. Openreach reports to Ofcom that they meet this target in around 85% of cases: obviously some take considerably longer, particularly if pole or duct work is required.

This outage is supposed to be in the exchange...so how long would that take? No oh or ug cabling required?
