Have now been 6 days without any Internet. A tree came down on Sunday 24th Nov and broke the cable down the road. The tree was removed by locals but no one has been out to sort the issue. I reported it to Sky on the evening of 24th November and drive past the broken cable everyday. Very frustrating as I have to work from home due to sickness.

Find out moreIt will be Openreach that have to come to fix this cable and as you are discovering they work at their own speed, possibly due to the fact they might be busy with other repairs after the storm last weekend. If you have reported this to Sky then there isn't much more you can do as I would guess that others in your area will still be without their service due to the broken cable.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Shenade123 you need to use the chat icon so the team can know who you are. As a general rule Sky dont send out spares rather they send a whole new hub you swap the cable over send the other bits back.
