Hi, we've lost out internet connection, run diagnostics on Sky router and requested to call customer service- who are all on training today so I've been on hold for a loooong time! Can we get a call back or book an engineer online?

@GD1 - thanks for explaining. I got a much quicker response from the helpline earlier with an Openreach engineer booked for tomorrow.
Having inspected further I've found the problem. Having spent months contacting Openreach about our data cable being left at ground surface (we live in a rural area) and being told an armoured version would replace it on several occasions, the hedges have now been cut and the said cable is in bits at several points. Which Openreach will find tomorrow 🤷♂️

Yup, that would do it. There's a road near here where the phone line is the only thing keeping a sheep fence upright ; )
