My WiFi keeps dropping between 2.30 and 3.30 a.m. No reason, it just stops working at night - but seems to be fine throughout the day. If I wouldn't be awake now, I'd have no clue about the frequency of this happening (which is A LOT!) So, I wonder what Sky's excuse is for this one?

Find out moreMost loss of connection after midnight is down to essential maintenance work and network housekeeping activity which is done then to cause the minimum inconvenience to users. If your service are back by morning it is safe to assume thst was the cause.
@LGP Ifvyou are on a copper connection brief line drops around 2.30am are likely to be due to the DLM system in the cabinet resetting the line to optimise the connection.

Thank you for your answer.
Are you saying that there's maintenance work on the system every night? Also, that the box for my connection automatically resets everything every night?
And if the answer is yes to any of the above, how do you explain that my husband's phone stays connected at all times, throughout the night and my router never loses connection? Also, when I do the online checks, my connection seems to be perfectly fine...

@LGP your first post dud not mention other devices stayed conected.
If some devices loose connection around 2.45am and you have Sky Q TV boxes it is a different cause. Simply the Q TV boxes by default go into a low energy state from 2.45am to 5.30am turning off their WiFi hot spot disconnecting any devices connected. Simple solution change tge Q box's standby state from Eco to Active or None. It will usexa tiny bit more power but you devices shouldcstay connected.
