No WiFi connection to tv. Broadband is with Sky and this is continually happening

Most times  I switch on sky tv there is no internet connection. Service Checher tells me the WiFi is ok (although sometimes it says the connection to the hub is poor.

i am tired switching the tv and router off and on again to get the tv to work. 
The broadband drops a lot with other devices too.
