No ONT or phone port

I have just moved into a new house, got the internet set up for today so my children are sorted for the weekend when we move in, only Iv moved to the new house and it's has no ONT port or phone port to plug in the sky Max hub. How long does open reach take to come out? I'm going to call first thing tomorrow morning.

You need to  ring sky  and they will  arrange  an engineer to come out, did you inform  sky that you were moving  house  aswell

Yeah sky new I was moving house they sent me a new hub.

@Becky146 how long it takes to sort depends on what work is required. Openreach obviously expected a line to be present however someone has removed the connection without telling them. Virgin Media engineers often do this when installing their cabling if so there should be a line to the property which makes connecting a new internal socket quite a simple job. However if somebody has done some building work a new line may have to be run from the road which can get complicated.

 

If you call Sky it is likely an engineer will be out early next week but whether they can do the whole job isunclear until exactly what requires doing is known.

I'm going to call sky this morning.

Theres a grey box outside of my house which I believe is for the connection but nothing inside of the house.
