Sky broadband does not generally have issues with the apps you mention but it is worth checking the settings on each network for the web filter Sky Broadband Shield as forcexample if set too low thst will block social networking etc by default it is set at age 13. The account holder can change the setting in the product settings section of the My Sky app or website.
Other than that the speed of the WiFi depends not onlyon the speed of the connection to the hub but also on the WiFi in the home your phone should show that few bars = slower connection. Signal strength is affected by both distance and what solid objects the signals pass through so how the home is built is a factor.
