Newer white Router

Has anyone else had issues with the newer white router?

We had a black one with minimal issues. Since the newer one the speeds are poor and it kicks out regularly.

Engineers have connected a new external BT phone line and replaced the box on the wall that the router plugs into but still we have problems.

we live rurally so we are on the fastest that we can be. Our neighbours are also with Sky as Sky is the only provider that works where we live and they are fine?

Has anyone else had this as may request trying a new router.

Multiple posts since the Max Hub was released in 2023 suggest that's the case in many properties: only Sky will know what percentage of customers this represents.

It would be incredibly unusual for Sky to be the only ISP available on the Openreach network.  Sky satellite television reception is not related to Sky Broadband.

Thanks for your reply.

I should have said that sky is the only ISP which works/ed well compared to others that we've tried. One end of the village can get virgin media, but we can't. Out of the ones we've tried and can get, Sky was the best, until we got the max router.

Both neighbours have sky broadband so I know that it works for them.

It is interesting that a lot have had issues with the sky max hub, so thank you for confirming that. ☺️
