Find out more@Nisham30 it is not uncommon for dates to slip where a new Openreach fibre line has to be installed therefore I would suggest not cancel your Virgin connection based on the date Skybhas given you. A lot depends on how fibre works in your road as if the fibre is going to run from a telegraph pole its usually simpler then where the connection is underground. However snags can delay things for example its more complex to run overhead lines across roads or through trees .which may only become clearcwhen the engineer is on site.
If you can afford it I would suggest cancelling Virgin once your new Sky line is in and working.
