I have City FIbre coming to upgrade my internet. A new telephone point will need to be installed in my house as the access point will be different to where it is now as I don't want wires trailing over the house to connect to the existing telephone point. The Sky advisor assured me that City Fibre would be able to do this, but I'm not sure that they will because as far as they're aware they're only coming to connect the broadband, not a new telephone point. As I'm taking the day off work for this appointment I want to make sure everything goes smoothly. How can I make sure that this will happen? Do City Fibre generally install new telephone points? I just have a fear that it's not going to go to plan.

@Its-Polly Your existing telephone point will be irrelvant if City Fibre are coming to install their service as it will be a Fibre to the Home service and will not be using your existing copper line.
CF will bring the Fibre in from the street normally at the front of the property.

Re: New telephone point installation?
@Its-Polly No! Telephone point becomes exctinct with the new connection method, plugging the phone into the back off the sky Hub now!

No ISP installs 'telephone points' because those are becoming obsolete. With voice service arriving over broadband to the router, that's where a handset or DECT base is connected: any existing internal extension sockets are redundant and there isn't any option for new ones.
