New router

Am trying to install my new hub and for the last 2 hours my sky VIP is telling me it is trying to update it and will tell me when ready have tried reinstalling multiple time 

very annoying it does seem to be working but can't stop this on my sky app

So it isn't the instaltion of the new hub that is the issue but that the update seems to go have got stuck with the MySky app, can you access the internet and websites OK on the device ?
