Hello all
Hope someone can help me.
I've recently been sent a new router from Sky but the upshot of it is that I know have slower speeds than the older model. Why is this? I'm on the same package from what I can tell.
I've done all the checks and updates but i still don't get the speeds of before.
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks

Are you looking at speeds in the Hub stats, over ethernet cable or over WiFi?

Fast.com and most tellingly how quick my downloads are going compared to a few weeks ago. Not very progressive is it?
I can't use my old router can I?

Which Hub do you have now, and what was the previous model?

I've gone from the Sky Q hub to the Sky Broadband Hub. It feels like a backwards step, is it?
I just don't understand why I've gone from getting great speeds to these bang average ones.

If you have an Android phone download an app called Wifi Analyzer which shows you the strength and channel of all wifi networks in range pretty obviously two signals on the same or adajacent channels will interfere.

I have exactly the same problem. Followed all instructions, did the reset, but no use at all. So frustrating. Older version was much better and now I'm paying monthly for a slower speed.
