New router, printer cannot find network
I have just joined Sky Broadband, everything working as hoped, except the printer.
I have tried the WPS/AOSS option, but keep getting a TS-07 error (Connection failed)
I can plug the printer into my MacBook and it works, but I want to use it wirelessly; it worked fine eith the BT router I just got rid of.
Any help/fixes greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Printer is a Brother HL1210-W

Re: New router, printer cannot find network
Can your printer see your Wi-Fi network as you will need to set up via the printer itself as if it was new.

Re: New router, printer cannot find network
I'm not sure how I would find that out?
But I don't think it can; the router and the printer aren't connecting wirelessly.
And I can't connect the printer to the router with wires as the connections aren't compatible

Re: New router, printer cannot find network
You need to set it up again via the printer itself as if it was new so try googling your name and model for instructions on how to do this because once you have done this then you should be able to use it.

Re: New router, printer cannot find network
Thanks for the advice so far, still no joy...
I've done a hard reset on the printer, reset the router, but still the printer and router won't talk to each other - still getting a TS-07 error, which says "The machine cannot detect a WLAN accesspoint/router that has WPS or AOSS enabled."
The problem seems to be that they can't connect using the WPS/AOSS option.
But I don't have a wired option, as the ports aren't compatible.

Re: New router, printer cannot find network
Thanks for the questions and input, I've sorted it now.
Had to download new firmware and the printer software.
Also discovered that using 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz can effect putting your printer on the network

Re: New router, printer cannot find network
@Pete+Rowden Good call, printers are the worst once connected on another hub, to try and move them about. Glad you got it all fixed up.👍
