Hi, I just had Sky install fibre broadband. My phone and other devices have connected to it fine, but my TV and Xbox won't connect. Neither seem able to find an IP address.
I originally thought it was just an issue with my TV and spoke to a Samsung engineer, but after a check he referred me to my ISP recommending that the main router is recalibrated. Since then my Xbox is also not able to connect with the router as it can't find an IP address.
Typical Sky, I can't get hold of anyone to speak with and thev're directed me here. Any thoughts on how to resolve this? Or if anyone has a number for Sky I can call to sort it?

Unfortunately in this context, 'recalibrated' just has no discernable meaning. Television panels can be calibrated, but not routers.

Yeah true.
He checked the MAC address (which he said "had value") and the TV worked through a mobile hotspot so we isolated that it wasn't an issue with the TV hardware. Plus other devices are working fine.
Just Xbox (which initially worked) and TV. Bit of a head scratcher.
What's the best Sky support number as this is clearly something I need to speak with a technician about rather than the community.
