New fibre cable installation
I am in the process of getting a new installation of sky stream which means openreach need to put a cable from the connection on the road to the house. They have now put the cable up to the house ready for an engineer to complete the installation with an exterior box.
Openreach came out again the following week but they again were here to fit the cable from the road to the house, which had previously been done. I have informed Sky several times that the first part of the installation is complete but have again been informed they are waiting for openreach to fit the cable from the road. Is this delaying tactics by sky or are openreach really this bad.

And to avoid confusion, the product which requires Openreach cabling is Sky Broadband (which is why your post is here rather than the Stream forum)
Sky Stream is a subscription television service and hardware 'puck': this is frequently sold alongside Sky Broadband, but is not the same thing either technically or contractually.
