New contract when partner moves out

Want to move my full fibre to sky, it's currently with BT, but in my partners name.  My partner is moving out and moving BT contract to new address, how do I start new contract without Sky cancelling his on him?

Thanks in advance

@NDun  You'll need to wait for his transfer to the new property has been completed, then you can place an order with Sky.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Re: New contract when partner moves out

@NDun That's very sound advice from @GD1 and allows the smooth transition away currently to the home move on the BT side, once gone and active after the move, you will be free to apply to sky for a brand new connection where you are, may take a couple off weeks to get it up after that so do consider what you need to fill in the gap!

As it's already a FF setup and you just never know depending on how busy OR are it may come quicker that's the unknown until you contact and apply!

Re: New contract when partner moves out

Thanks both for your replies, and yes, it's the gap in between that concerns me, as I work from home alot, so may be stuck for a few weeks, but I guess unavoidable in this instance.  Thanks again
