Hi all,
This morning my Sky broadband was switched on (previously with Talk Talk with 40 down and 10 up which has been constant and steady for years and alawys been fast enough).
A salesman from Sky phoned with a great deal Broadband TV Disney Netflix etc. Both my wife and I work from home and a pre-requisire of changing was that we could not have an interruption to service. The Sales guy assured me there would be none.
This morning I have ended up loosing a number of teams calls (this is with just me online). I am on a wired connection and the speed is flutuating wildly. I have since found the guidance that for the first 14 days the speed will fluctuate while they stabilise the line however it should not flutuate to the extent that I loose calls. Is there anything I can do?....I cant contact them in any way (no contact number) and once my wife starts teaching this afternoon we are screwed.
Thanks in advance for any help

They shouldn't have made any such assurance, but were probably referring to the external connection rather than local WiFi: a big change that people tend to notice is the different capabilities of the Sky Hub compared to their previous ISP router, so you may need to consider where your workspaces are within the property.
I'd also note that being offered 40/10 rather than 80/20 does tend to imply the external connection isn't great at the best of times, probably due to distance from the cabinet or the nature of the phone cabling.

Thanks for your reply, My old service provider was 40 down and 10 up so this is double what it was. I am using cat 6 cabling throughout so WiFi not relevent.
It does seem to have stabilised somewhat although dropped a call this morning. I guess I will just have to wait it out for the next few days.
Best
