New broadband

I spoke to someone on Friday who arranged for a new pod to come out as the one I had supplied with my new broadband was not working. Since changing over my connection has been very slow, my new pod is still flashing in the socket, and I still have no landline since the changeover. Please advise how I rectify this as a matter of urgency. Thank you
