I got broadband and tv in recently and have nothing but problems with the broadband. The test on MySky says the broadband is working but can't find the tv. But I regularly have to knock of WiFi on the phone for a page to load. And there has been constant problems connecting with the tv.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Leesa the stats show your new connection is workinng and data is flowing properly.
Issues with connecting devices like a smart TV are normally down to the device. With TVs you can normally get them to connect by unplugging or switching off the power until the led on the set goes out then restarting them which causes the set to reboot which normally allows a new connection to be established.
Hope that helps.

@Chrisee I've since connected the tv and the fire stick and both seem to be connecting no problem. Its the sky puck and my phone that is having issues with connection. The biggest problem being the sky puck. I haven't been able to watch sky for more than an hour without having connection issues. The phone I just come off the WiFi and the pages will load when it happens.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Leesa your phone is likely yo have a setting wherevit will switch to mobile data if the mobile connection is faster than the wifi which if your wifi signal is marginal which it sounds like it is its probably the cause. You can turn off the option in the mobile srttings the name varies.
if the Sky strea m wont stay conne cted when reset using the Sky option thst uses wps button then again it sounds like poor wifi. Is your hub out in the open and not on the floor or in a cupboard as while the Sky hubs aren't great wifi routers they are normally usable if given a chance. However if you are still having issues and connecting the puck by ethernet is impractical you may need to buy something to improve the signal to the puck or invest in Sky's wifi max bundle which can provide extender pods.

The router is on the hall where it's always been. I'll have a look this afternoon and fsilibg that I'll cancel the broadband as we never had any problems with any other supplier.

Perhaps just be aware that cancelling now could well mean having no broadband at all until the second week of 2024 at the earliest.
