New broadband but won’t work

Had sky box delivered and plugged in yesterday and our set up date was yesterday... I've followed all the steps ! WiFi light is green but internet won't light up or connect at all, on the app I can't seem to get any help and also says 'don't have broadband with us ' any time I try and check connection status, I know it says they will connect before midnight on the date of activation but still nothing... and it's the next day ! anyone point me into the right direction if I'm doing somthing wrong? I have the grey cable plugged into the port like it states as not needing the black and obviously it's plugged into the mains...


we don't have tv or landline but broadband ( seleted )

@Anderson031 sounds like for somecreason Openreach did not activate your service. As you need Sky's help I am escalating your post to the Sky team who support the forum who should be in touch soon to offer you a private online chat session to get this sorted. Keep an eye on the forum as if you miss the message just click the brightly coloured chat icon which will be added to the forum pages for you to use.saving a long phone call.
