I have recently had a new white max router and the top broadband package for approx 9 days and even though it is fast at times it is dropping to really slow speeds (less then 1mbs) for extended periods. I appreciate there is a settling in period but this is terrible. Is this normal?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Paul+Free no its not normal while the Sky Max hub is not the best WiFi router it should be providing reasonably consistent speeds on what I presume is a full fibre connection. To eliminate possible external issues is the hub out in the open on a surface well away from any other wireless equipment?
If this continues report the issue to Sky as swapping the unit would seem sensible first step.

Hi this is still happening after 12 days. I have gigafast which is really fast 90% of the time but the other 10% it's unusable and kicks us off the WiFi. How do I get Sky to have a look at this as every avenue I go down seems to be AI answering and sending me through to testing which supprise supprise doesn't show any problems. I can't actually use the app when I have no internet so seems a bit of an odd concept for black spots.
