New Super fast broadband and booster not working

I had full fibre broadband connected on Monday (4 days ago) and the signal seems weaker than before and the Sky Booster in the upstairs is not showing a connection.  The wifi signal upstairs is so bad I can't reconnect my Smart bulbs.  What can I do?  I have tried to reboot the booster and set up close to the new router which showed a connection.  In a different spot upstairs it connect but the signal is weak.
