New Max HUB

Is Sky bringing out the New Sky Max Hub this Month, and does anyone know what it will be packing, and can anyone help me ONT in to switch or Unifi Cloud Gateway Ultra

I am trying to build my network so it uses the Unifi system for wifi since Sky doesn't offer wifi 7, and keepthe  Sky hub so I can run Voip

@UkzVortex98 Looking like you are falling into the same quagmire hole as previous. Sky does not stop you putting anything on the network they just do not support what you are trying to do outside off there equipment. Is City Fibre going to be an available fibre for you!

@UkzVortex98 I read that article but as yet nothing official from Sky. Given they are wholly owned by Comcast it is worth looking st what Comcast are offering in the US. The white hub 6 is known to be a development from a Comcast based unit.

That new router is required is not surprising as when they start offering conections via City Fibre they will need a unit with a 2.5Gb/s WAN port and probably at the same time WiFi7 support.

Re: New Max HUB

The current max hub was a borrowed design from sky italia as the WiFi worked great with the lighter construction in the Mediterranean Sky orders via city fibre use the same sky equipment as it’s the same current package speeds as the openreach service that are offered

@mormegil Italy may be  using the same basic design bit I can assure you the basic system is developed from a Comcast design using plume pods as extenders.
