New Fibre Broadband connection
Our new fibre broadband was connected yesterday and we're only seeing download speeds of around 90Mb/s. Our neighbour across the road was connected today (he's with Vodaphone) is already getting 800Mb/s. Is there something wrong with the way we were connected up by OpenReach?

@SteveT3 With the 90Mb/s speed you quote you are close to the speed indicated by a bad wan cable from port 4 of the sky hub to the ONT. Takes only 1 bad pin, one bad cable connection or not inserted correct to show huge drop in speed!
Take a look at the service checker then Broadband use the > expand and see what the history shows, you should have the FF900 package and speed when tested should be up at that or around the value!

Thank you so much! You were spot on! I replaced the cable and the download speed went straight up to ~500Mb/s ie where it should be.

@SteveT3 Just keep the eye on the service checker history now, you should also see that return and keep up at the 500Mb/s level or around that value!👍

@Voldamort Can you do a wired test Ethernet from a device to the Sky Hub lan port? Also on post 2 the service checker to your hub history!
