Having had FTTP installed a few weeks ago, I have been fighting constantly with SKY regarding what is a massive real-world decrease in speed to embarrassing levels. An engineer came around and did a few tests, including the speed to hub showing 145mb/s
I have hard-wired to the router and also tried connecting via my UBNT mesh WiFi network in the house (connected via LAN port 1 on the back) and I am unable to get anything over 5/10mbs.
I desperately need help from someone competent here as I've spent many hours talking to Sky and no one can figure anything out and I keep being given the runaround.
As a Sky 'Diamond member' with over 20 years of using SKY services I am at a loss as to what I need to do.

While it may not be this, my mothers did much the same. Internally it was about 5mb and the router showed 145mb. I'd rebooted the router without success so I turned everything off, including the ONT supply and UPS if you have one, router, smart plugs and left them an hour or two. Turned everything back on and got the full 145mbs.
In the end I think there was a glitch somewhere in the router/ONT connection.

Thanks for that, I might give it a go tonight. Maybe turn everything off before bed and then back on in the morning and let it all reprovision itself.
